Triangle Solitare Marble Game

To accompany our ongoing exhibition 'Cromwell's Classroom: The Early History of Huntingdon Grammar School' at the Cromwell Museum, Triangle Marble Solitaire is a timeless puzzle game that has challenged and entertained players for centuries.

Played on a distinctive triangular wooden board, the aim is deceptively simple: remove marbles by jumping them one at a time, leaving as few marbles on the board as possible. Easy to learn but difficult to master, this classic game encourages logical thinking, problem-solving, and patience, making it enjoyable for both children and adults.

Carefully crafted from sustainably sourced wood, the board measures approximately 13cm (5.25 inches) across and comes complete with 17 glass marbles (colours may vary) and a handy cotton storage bag to keep all the pieces together.
