To accompany our ongoing exhibition 'Cromwell's Classroom: The Early History of Huntingdon Grammar School' at the Cromwell Museum, Noughts and Crosses Marble Game reimagines a much-loved classic with an exciting three-dimensional twist.

Based on the familiar game of Noughts and Crosses, also known as Tic-Tac-Toe, this version uses colourful glass marbles to add a new layer of strategy and visual appeal. Players take turns placing their marbles on the wooden board, aiming to create a line of three horizontally, vertically, or diagonally while blocking their opponent’s moves.

Simple enough for younger players to enjoy yet engaging for all ages, this thoughtful adaptation encourages strategic thinking, planning, and friendly competition.

Crafted from sustainably sourced wood, the board measures 14cm square (5.5 inches) and comes complete with 10 brightly coloured glass marbles (colours may vary) and a cotton storage bag to keep everything safely together.

Compact, durable, and easy to take on the go, Noughts and Crosses Marble Game is a delightful modern take on a timeless favourite.

WARNING: Choking Hazard - this game contains marbles and is not suitable for children under 3 years.
